FlexMation Story
Production managers and Manufacturing engineers face challenges from too many things on their to-do list, a shortage of people-time-money and demands to increase throughput. We help them come up with better ways of getting the jobs done.
What does FlexMation do? Think of us like a hi-tech lumber yard combined with a cabinet shop, specializing in aluminum structural t-slot framing systems made by a world-class manufacturer- Bosch Rexroth. That means you can get aluminum profiles in full lengths and connection hardware for do-it-yourself projects or you can have us design and build a complete framing assembly, custom made for your specific needs.
What makes FlexMation a good resource? We go beyond the support provided by providers of general industrial goods. They're good with routine order filling although light on know-how when you ask them how to do a project. As a framing specialist, we purposely concentrate on product and application knowledge in order to give you better answers in less time. Further, our questions enhance our understanding of your project's objectives which help us create designs that provide more comprehensive solutions to your needs. Either way, you get more for your money with us.
Our design department is involved in your project from concept through production. We take our role seriously to come up with durable and cost-effective designs for your unique needs. Many applications require a custom brace, bracket, latch, lock, panel or some such item to create an optimum solution. That is one way we use our accumulated experience to go above and beyond the capabilities of the normal mass merchandiser. We use AutoCAD or ProE to create 3D drawings and for making our bill of materials, machining/production instructions and generating pricing.
Our production department has close access to the inventory for efficient processing. The work cell is specifically designed for fast, accurate and efficient production of your project. The equipment includes a Tiger Stop feed into Kaltenbach saw to enhance cut-to-length precision and productivity. The mill/drill has specialized fixtures for rapid changeover. Our tapping station has a FlexArm tapper and quick clamps, again for rapid set up and changeovers.
