Controlled Environment Parts Cart

This clean room cart is fully enclosed with stainless steel top and bottom panels, polycarbonate side panels, two doors with locking handles, nine adjustable shelves and four locking caster wheels. It was constructed using 30x30 profiles and the external t-slots were covered with aluminum cover strips. The cart cost considerably less than the stainless steel wire ones previously used.

HEPA Enclosure Cart

This custom cart was needed to house mixing equipment for a lab area in a medical products company. The roof holds a HEPA filter to pressurize the upper cabinet area (enclosed with clear polycarbonate panels) containing the mixing equipment. The polypropylene lower shelves hold instrumentation and spare equipment. The frame, which rides on easy rolling locking caster wheels, was sized to fit through the customer's narrow doorways. The major construction elements are 45x45 profiles and cover strips are used to fill exposed t-slots.

Label Cart

This custom cart is used to hold 8 different rolls of labels in a medical product production area. It replaces a plastic shelf cart that could only hold a couple of rolls and was a catch point for clutter. The cart is made from 30x30 R, 30x60 and 30x30 profiles riding on top of easy rolling locking caster wheels.

Instrumentation Cart

This custom cart holds numerous file servers and data collection equipment. Two power strips were included for power management from the overhead source. The back side has louvered SS panels which serve as protective and decorative hinged doors along a main walkway. The unit sits on heavy duty caster wheels and foot operated floor locks. The frame is built using 45x45H and 45x90 H profiles secured together with M12 connection screws.

Instrument Towers

These specialized towers are used for burn-in testing. Notable features include the louvered SS hinged door panels, wire harnesses, shelf brackets, heavy duty casters and floor locks. The frames are built using 45x90 corner posts and 45x45 horizontal members fastened together with connection screws.

Mobile Test Cart

This custom cart houses an electo-mechanical press. The upper tower holds the actuator encased by clear polycarbonate panels. The table top is gray laminate on a wood core. The base unit has a storage drawer and beneath it are two doors that provide access to the control panel. The lower panels are black ABS. The cart is easily rolled into position and locked into place with the locking caster wheels.

The upper frame is made from 30x30 R and the lower frame from 45x45 profiles.

W-I-P Cart

This specialized cart handles work-in-progress in a manual-automated assembly area. The customer was able to get seven parts shelves into this highly mobile cart that helped them save floor space within a small work cell. The cart is built using Bosch 45x45 and 45x90 profiles on top of heavy duty swivel locking caster wheels. Note the special shape of the shelves, mounted to heavy duty slides and the fixed aluminum tray beneath each for catching debris.
