Company Summary
FlexMation was established by Jim Eng and Steve McClintick in 2003. We saw an opportunity to form our own company with Bosch Rexroth as our primary supplier. We liked their aluminum structural framing products AND their business model enough to put our homes on the line and open our own company.
Our approach when we started -and now- is simple; less is more. In other words, we want to focus our efforts as a specialist rather than as a generalist. Don't get us wrong- there are lots of good generalists out there- but for us, we'd rather not juggle business dealings, manage priorities and spread resources with several hundred suppliers. Just a few critical ones.
We believe in US Manufacturing. It provides worthwhile jobs and a standard of living envied around the world. However, we are concerned at the lack of importance it carries in political and educational circles. The US is headed for trouble if that attitude persists. But there are bright spots out there and our customers work incessantly to overcome obstacles and make things better for all of us.
FlexMation enjoys the challenge of solving problems and coming up with cool solutions for our customers. We work hard and take pride in each and every project that we do. We like the look and feel of the completed projects and send a bit of our hearts along with each shipment. While we appreciate the project, we truly value the long-term relationships we've been fortunate to establish with our customers.
Thanks for letting us spout off about how we got started and for bragging a little about our organization. We wouldn't be much of anything by ourselves and appreciate all the help and support provided by our stakeholders; employees, suppliers, customers, community and of course our families.
God Bless America!
