Positive Pressure Enclosure
This custom enclosure is for a medical product application. The enclosure was designed to fit tightly to an existing wind/unwind coating machine and has to protect the product from ultraviolet light and the general atmosphere. This project used 30x30 and 45x45 profiles.
Dark Room Test Station
This unit has 1/8" aluminum panels attached to 30x30 profiles. There is a sliding door (using Bosch's Delrin slide bearings) on the lower left and a horizontal one perched slightly above it. Gaskets are installed to help seal the door joints.
Machine Enclosure
This free-standing enclosure houses a special assembly machine. The frame is constructed using 45x45 profiles and connection screws. Special doors were needed to access certain areas of the machine and openings were needed to accommodate the control panel. Note the hinged locking doors, ¼" polycarbonate panels (protective film still in place) and rigid mounting feet.
Pharma Enclosure
Aluminum framing can sometimes be substituted for costly stainless steel enclosures. This enclosure shows Bosch's smooth-faced 45x45 3S and 45x45 R profiles. The recesses in the lower front accommodate the transport conveyor.
Weld Robot
Bosch Rexroth Aluminum Structural Framing Systems provide an easy way to design and build structures for industrial robots. This enclosure has see-through polycarbonate panels, hinged-locking doors and the t-slots make it easy to mount control panels, safety switches and stack lights. The profiles are also useful for making parts placement frames and can be tied into Bosch conveyors for in-feed and removal of parts from the robot area.
