The Territory Manager (TM) will stand at the forefront of the FlexMation team to initiate sales activities, support customers, and position us for growth. You will work to maintain our existing customer base, discover new business, and provide technical expertise throughout our upper-Midwest territory.
Who You Are
- Ideally living in the Twin Cities metro area
- Ability to work out in the field with customers and within a home office; availability for some overnight travel (usually less than one day per month)
- Strong mechanical/engineering abilities; digitally-minded
- Has initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit; accomplishes goals independently
- An ambassador who communicates effectively with our customers and suppliers throughout every level of our organization; sets a remarkable example of teamwork and leadership

Position Summary
Reporting to the Sales Manager located in Minneapolis, MN, this position will be responsible for:
- Development of strategic relationships with customers in the territory and creating a profitable sales growth
- Maintaining and growing existing accounts
- Developing and expanding our presence through existing/new product and service offerings
- Working closely with our suppliers for product knowledge and developing business
- Creating sales presentations highlighting features and benefits
- Ensuring positive relationships and complete customer satisfaction
- Working closely with our Engineering team to define a project’s requirements that provide a tailored solution
- Creating and presenting project proposals/quotes
- Resolving product or service problems/concerns with customers and customer service
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to create social content, company presentations, and other helpful communications to enhance our message with customers and prospects
- Maintaining customer account information by effectively using HubSpot, our CRM, and pipeline management tool
- Continuous assessment of our business position in the territory (i.e., SWOT analysis, market share, customer input, competition, etc.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or technical college degree or equivalent work experience; 2+ years Industrial Sales experience
- Self-management and multi-tasking skills
- Technical knowledge and ability to learn and demonstrate our products and abilities
- Willingness to travel
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Possesses local market knowledge
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, ergonomics, and continuous improvement (CI)
- Grasp of manufacturing processes
- Proficient with quality management systems (QMS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with SOLIDWORKS CAD software and Microsoft Office products
